| This original Aurora Colony Quilt Pin reflects the hand appliquéd bird and grapevine corner motif found on the border of Aurora Colony Historical Society's Tulip Basket Quilt, made about 1885 by a member of the Wolfer Family. It is one of the finest quilts in the museum's collection. The bird pattern was taken from one of the Colony-crafted cookie cutters and each grape cluster contains 21 tiny appliquéd grapes. |
